AT&T NumberSync to connect all of your devices with one number

U.S. leading telecom company AT&T to connect all devices of its customers with one number. As we buy more smartphones and wearable so need a new number every time.  That’s why the idea of having one phone number to connect all devices is an increasingly attractive one. AT&T is ready to provide a service that will allow users to connect all their gadgets, with a single phone number. According to company the new services will be called AT&T NumberSync.  This service will allow users to send and receive texts and calls from any device using one number.

Company sources confirmed that the service will be made possible due to changes on AT&T’s existing network. The AT&T NumberSync is not like a bluetooth-based solution.  AT&T NumberSync connectivity will function even if the user’s primary mobile device with the originating number is physically nowhere near the other NumberSync-connected devices. According to AT&T spokesperson David Christopher:

At&T mentions that the service will be able to connect wearables devices like fitness bands. David also hints at possible in-car functionality. But he hasn’t told about number of specific NumberSync devices are mentioned. Still it is not clear that the service will work across different mobile platforms like Android, iOS and Windows Phone.

The initial version of AT&T NumberSync will allow you to connect up to five devices to one mobile phone number. Apple also offers a similar concept in the form of its Continuity feature, which allows you to make and receive calls through your Mac and iPad via your iPhone. But AT&T’s NumberSync has the potential be much more powerful than Apple’s solution. As the service is delivered by company’s network is fantastic. AT&T says the first NumberSync ready device will be launched in this month. And two additional devices will come during the holiday season likely in December.
