BlackBerry Priv Marshmallow Beta updates starting to roll out

The Android marshmallow updates for the smartphones is rolling out in full swing. After the Samsung, Sony, HTC and OnePlus the BlackBerry is ready to roll out Marshmallow updates to its first Android Smartphone.  The company announced a few days ago that it would offer an Android Marshmallow Beta program for BlackBerry Priv. Now the BlackBerry Priv Marshmallow Beta updates started to roll out. The registration period for the BlackBerry Priv Marshmallow Beta updates would last for about two weeks. The BlackBerry Priv Marshmallow Beta updates test program will lasts for 4-8 weeks. And after this, in May the official roll-out of the final build for all users will began.

As per some media reports, BlackBerry has informed its initial batch of beta testers that the pre-release software build is now available for their device. After this first trial begins – and provided there are no big bugs – it will expand to a larger group of registered individuals. The company expects to have everyone who signed-up running the Marshmallow Beta by Sunday, April 16th. According to the company’s official statement:

Some participants will start to receive Marshmallow software tomorrow. We will take a similar approach to how we brought people into the program when rolling out the software update: start with a small group, monitor for any critical issues, then expand to larger and larger groups. We expect to have everyone updated by the end of the week.

BlackBerry is not the only company which is late to the Marshmallow updates. LG also recently began to update its unique V10 device.
