Google has officially launched their next version of android operating system. Android Marshmallow aka Android M is here. Google Nexus 6P and Google Nexus 5X will be first device to have android M out of box. Other leading smartphone companies are working to rollout Android 6.0 M OTA updates. HTC is going to launch new device called HTC A9 on October 2015. It is pre assumed that the device will be run on Android M. Google says about the Android M:

Android M is debuting as a pre release version today with a full release later this year, brings a host of new features and performance enhancements.

At the developer preview launch event Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai says the company has “gone back to the basics” and improved quality of the platform. Android 5.0 Lollipop introduced a new design and interface. But the Android Marshmallow is focused on improving the stability and usability of the software. With the Android Marshmallow, Google ranging from new features to improved performance and efficiency. One of the big features of Android Marshmallow is a redesigned apps permissions system. Now user will be able to approve or deny security permissions, such as Contacts, camera or location access, on a case by case basis. It is very similar to how Apple has handle app permissions in iOS for years.

Android M introduces native USB Type-C support, which allows for faster and easier charging. At this time OnePlus 2 and Google Nexus P devices has USB Type C.  It also lets users charge other devices with their Android phone. All key features of Android M are listed as below:
