Motorola Moto G 3rd gen Android M update rolling out in India
It’s time to upgrade your android devices to Google’s latest mobile OS version 6 called Android Marshmallow aka Android M. Recently every smartphone manufacturer is rolling out OTA updates to latest build. Now Motorola announced for its Moto g 3rd gen Android M updates. Moto G 3rd gen Android M updates are rolling out for Indian users. A couple of days ago, LG announced for Android Marshmallow updates for its LG G3 device. This update was for Poland users for testing purpose. The Motorola Moto G third-gen smartphone will now be upgraded from Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Motorola has started rolling out of latest OS build updates in US and Canada last week. The update is around 2GB and carries a software version 24.11.25.en.US. The announcement to roll out updates in India comes after a week. Motorola has added new features in the latest OS build. Some UI changes including notification drawer are also there. As for the update in US, the update has regular Android 6.0 goodies, including Doze, Google Now on Tap, and redesigned app permissions. It also includes Google’s security patches of the December month.
The company has not specified the specific dates for the Moto G 3rd gen Android M updates. Motorola India announced on its official twitter account for the latest update.

When the Moto G 3rd gen Android M updates are available the phone would notify you about the update. However if you does not receive the notification then it can be checked manually. To check manually for the update you have to go into Settings > About Phone > System Update. If update is available then simply download it.
