OnePlus Rolling Out Oxygen OS OTA for OnePlus 2
OnePlus is finally rolling out Oxygen OS OTA updates. The OTA will be received by the latest flagship OnePlus 2. The 2016 flagship killer is getting its first over-the-air software update. Oxygen OS OTA is named version 2.0.1. It will fix existing bugs and introduces several new software enhancements. This OTA will be rolling out incrementally, starting in India. So it may take some time before the update reaches all OnePlus 2 devices.
OnePlus developer team has done a good work for the improvement in the OS. The latest Oxygen OS OTA update is firstly patching out the Stage-fright security exploit that is causing Android users a lot of trouble. In other features, the battery performance along with some bugs has been fixed. Now the battery performance is 10% more. The user interface (UI) logic along with coherence has been improvised.
In addition, the Oxygen OS OTA update fixes the issue faced while using the pinch-to-zoom feature in Google Photos along with the Dark Mode. The update also fixes an issue related to import/export of contacts stored on the SIM card. It will include additional support for global carrier APNs.

The OnePlus 2 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display. The device comes with 64bit Snapdragon 815 CPU along with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. OnePlus 2 has a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port. The fingerprint scanner is faster than the iPhone TouchID, as claimed by OnePlus. It can save up to five fingerprints for batter experience.
