Gionee Elife S8 is going to launch on 22nd February at MWC 2016

Every mobile lover is ready for Mobile World Congress aka MWC 2016. Gionee is the official partner of MWC 2016 event. The company already announced the Gionee Elife S8 smartphone launch at MWC 2016. The device launch event is held on February 22, 2016. Samsung, Lenovo, LG and Xiaomi already announced the launch date of their flagship smartphones. The Gionee Elife S8 is the successor of the the Elife S7 which was unveiled at last year MWC. Slife S7 was just 5.5mm thin and the thinnest dual-SIM phones. The key feature of the device is its camera. According to company official:

“A new era of mobile photography has arrived and we welcome our consumers to explore this era together with joy in their hearts. We believe technology is part of our lives and we enjoy the convenience and creativity it brings. At MWC 2016, GIONEE will introduce a new member to its S series – the Elife S8. It is an innovative mobile device that comes with hassle-free photo-shooting features and a pressure-sensitive display.”

The Gionee Elife S8 will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display having 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset clocked at 1.9 GHZ along with Mali-T680MP2 GPU. The device will have 4GB of DDR4 RAM clubbed with 64 GB internal storage. The device will run on latest Android M aka Android Marshmallow. The device is occupied with a huge 16 MP having f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and LED flash. The camera features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR. At the front you will have an 8 MP camera with wide angle lens.

At the connectivity front the Gionee Elife S8 has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0, microUSB v2.0, A-GPS. The device has all standard sensors like Accelerometer, gyro, proximity etc. But all the details about the device will be unlived on Monday, 22 February 2016 at MWC. Till then we just have to wait.
