Lenovo’s answer to Xiaomi Redmi 3 is Lenovo Lemon 3
Lenovo launched a new budget smartphone named as Lenovo Lemon 3. Earlier this Month, Xiaomi gave surprise to tech lovers by putting out the Redmi 3. It was launched in China with impressive features and specification like a full metal body, 5-inch HD display, octa-core Snapdragon 616 SoC octa-core CPU and a huge 4,100 mAh battery. The Redmi 3 was competitively priced at RMB 699 (Approx. $105). Now the Lenovo give answer to Xiaomi by launching the Lenovo Lemon 3. It looks sharp and has similar specs to the Xiaomi’s Redmi 3.
In terms of specification the Lenovo Lemon 3 is nearly identical to the Redmi 3. The Lemon 3 features same 5-inch FHD displays having resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixel. Whereas the Redmi 3 has only HD display. The Lenovo Lemon 3 is also powered by the same Snapdragon 615SoC octa-core CPU along with Adreno 405 GPU. The device has same 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via using microSD card. The device is measuring 142x71x7.99 mm and weighs 142 grams.
The Lenovo Lemon 3 houses 13 MP main camera with auto focus and LED flash. The camcorder is capable to record full HD videos at 1080p. At the front their is 5 MP selfie shooter. The lemon 3 also has same price tag RMB 699 (approx. $105 US) as the Redmi 3. In terms of connectivity, the Lemon 3 supports 4G LTE (also supports India bands) networks, along with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, USB 2.0, GPS, A-GPS. The main difference between Xiaomi Redmi 3 and Lenovo Lemon 3 is the battery. The lemon 3 comes with 2750 mAh battery whereas Redmi 3 has a bigger 4100 mAh battery.
Although there are almost everything is same. But Lenovo’s lemon 3 boasts a higher resolution whereas Redmi 3 has bigger battery. So here it’s very hard to choose one at the same price tag. It depends on your priority that which is best for you either batter display or big battery. Still there is no news on availability of both devices outside of China.
