LG G5 launched with 16MP dual rear camera and Snapdragon 820

Finally LG G5 is here. The LG G5 is launched today in MWC 2016. It is the first mainstream modular smartphone. The LG G5 launched with sleek body and many features which makes it a true flagship. The LG G5 is the second flagship device of 2016 after LeTV LeMax Pro. The G5 has a “fluid metal” body and beveled glass on the front. The device has the perfect design which attracts everyone. We are also waiting the next smartphone of MWC 2016 – The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge.

The LG G5 launched with a stunning 5.3-inch IPS quad-HD quantum display having 2560×1440 resolution and 554 dpi. The display comes with an always-on mode. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 processor. The Snapdragon 820 chipset boasts more than 2 times better performance and power efficiency compared to previous generation technology. This power supports the G5’s ability to deliver superior connectivity and processing speed, long battery life and batter graphics. The device comes with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB UFS internal memory.

The LG G5 launched with dual camera combination at the rear panel. There is one normal angle 16MP camera and one wide angle (135 degrees) 8MP camera. The phone stitches the inputs from both two cameras into one image. At the front there is again wide angle 8MP selfies camera. The device runs on Google’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The device dimensions are 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7mm having 159 grams weight. The LG G5 features 2,800mAh removable battery.

The LG G5 launched with two modules: the LG Cam Plus with its extra 1,200mAh battery capacity and the LG Hi-Fi Plus 32-bit DAC that was developed in partnership with Bang & Olufsen. As well as the actual handset, LG unveiled a range of new accessories known as the LG Friends. The video offers a quick look at the 360 Cam, the company’s slim VR headset, and the remote controlled Rolling Bot.
