CES 2016 is running on full swing with new tech gadgets and devices. The Korean electronics giant LG announced an entire line-up of budget devices named LG K series. The official announced made via the company’s Facebook page. The new LG K Series includes the LG K4 (LTE), LG K5, Lg K7 (LTE), LG K8 (LTE) and the LG K10 (LTE) smartphones. According to Facebook page of LG, new models will be launched in the future. Last week at CES 2016 LG already launched its K7 and K10 smartphones.
This is an effort by LG to push itself for LTE smartphones in the budget range. These models will sport glossy and textured finishes on the back panel. As part of LG’s new affordable mid-range smartphone series, both LG K7 and LG K10 stand out in design and camera features. The hardware details of the new devices are still not available. LG points out the same by stating:
As part of LG’s new affordable mid-range smartphone series, the K10 and K7 stand out both in design and camera features. The glossy pebble design complemented with intricate woven back patterns provide a better grip and unique features including the ‘gesture interval shot’ and ‘tap and shot’ will bring a hassle-free selfie experience to those in use.
The new LG K7 sports a 5-inch HD display while the LG K10 sports a 5.3-inch FHD display. It is pre assumed that the K4 will be the most affordable device and the lower hardware specifications. It looks that LG is targeting the youth crowd with its mid-rangers particularly mentioning the rear texture design. LG is also focusing on photography (mainly selfies) and premium looking devices.
