It will be the first smartphone to launch with Android 7.0 Nougat. The LG V20 launch event is held in September 2016 but no confirm date was given by company. The LG V10 launched in October last year with good camera, great display and solid build quality. Now smartphone lover’s eyes are on the new LG V20. LG promises that the new smartphone will be enough powerful. According to the Business Division CEO of LG Jo Junho:
“V20 will be a new standard for premium phones with more enhanced multimedia capabilities”.
LG has a close cooperation with Google to launch the V20 with Android 7.0 on board. It means the device will come with less bloat-ware and having the feel of stock android. LG is still hiding the specs of the device. But we have some pre-release specification leaks. The phone is expected to have a 5.7 inch FHD display having 1440×2560 pixels resolution. Last year LG V10 was launched with the same display.
The LG V20 will be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC with a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. It may have 4GB of RAM along with 32GB/64GB Internal storage variants. It may also launch with 6GB RAM variant as we have seen in OnePlus 3. The LG V20 specs will be power packed as we seen in V10. The device will have a 20MP rear camera along with an 8MP selfie snapper at front. The rear camera may features laser autofocus, OIS and LED flash. A Type-C USB port will be there for a large 4000 mAh battery.
