Meizu M2 Launched with Android 5.1 and 13MP camera
Chinese phone maker Meizu has launched a new budget smartphone. The device named Meizu M2 is an upgraded version of Meizu M1. This is an entry level smartphone priced at Yuan 599 which is around $96 (approx INR 6,100). Meizu is known for quality devices at low prices just like Xiaomi. This time Meizu is hitting the ball out of the park in term of price and device specification. There are plenty of devices at this price point but we can’t compare them with Meizu M2. None of the device is even get close to offering what the Meizu M2 packs.
The Meizu m2 comes with a polycarbonate unibody design. The device features a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. The screen is covered by Asashi Dragontrail protective glass surface. The Meizu M2 has a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali T720 GPU. The device comes with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB eMMC memory. The internal storage can expand up to 128GB using a microSD card. The device is available in four colors such as Blue, Pink, Grey and White. The device has dual SIM configuration. The second SIM card slot can be interchangeably used as a microSD card slot.
In terms of camera the device has a 13MP Samsung CMOS sensor rear camera. The camera features 5-element lens modules, and an ƒ/2.2 ultra large aperture along with LED flash. The device also comes with a 5MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The device supports 4G FDD-LTE, TD-LTE network along with GPS, A-GPS, dual-band Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and much more. The Meizu M2 comes with Android 5.1 OS with Meizu’s Flyme UI 4.5 skin out of box. The device has a huge 2500 mAh battery with SONY/ATL battery cells for long life.
