Motorola Moto G Turbo with Snapdragon 615 Launched in India
Motorola finally launched the Moto G Turbo edition. It is higher end variant of Motorola’s popular Moto G (3rd Gen) smartphone. The device will going on sale at midnight tonight, exclusively on Flipkart. The smartphone is priced at INR 14,499. The Moto G Turbo Edition got some improvements over the Moto G (3rd Gen). This includes an improved Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. Motorola is continuously launching mid-range devices to grow up in India. Company’s main aim is to target budget segment. The device will compete with Xiaomi’s Mi 4i.
The Moto G Turbo edition smartphone flaunts a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display with 294ppi. The screen got Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a 64 bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset clocked at 1.5GHz. The Moto G Turbo has an Adreno 405 graphics for batter performance. The device has 2GB of RAM along with 16 GB onboard storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The smartphone comes with an IP67 certification which makes it resistant to water and dust. In terms of camera the device comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED CCT flash and f/2.0. At the front side there is a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera with f/2.2.

The Moto G Turbo retains same 2470mAh battery. But now it comes with Motorola’s Turbo quick charge support. The TurboPower wall charger also bundled to quickly charge your smartphone. Motorola claims that after 15 mins of charging it can give 6 hours of talk. The phone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of box. The OS is very close to stock Android albiet with some Moto features such as Moto Voice, Moto Assist.
On the connectivity front, The Moto G Turbo has a dual SIM configuration, 4G LTE, Wi-fi 802.11n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and GLONASS. The device also got sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor.
