Samsung upgrades three smartphones: Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7

Samsung finally launched upgrades of three smartphones in its Galaxy A series. All new Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 devices comes with metal-clad body. These smartphones will be available in China by 3rd week of December. After the China launch, all three Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 are expected to arrive in other countries. The Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 smartphones are believed to be the mid-range budget segment. But still there is no word on the pricing yet by the Samsung.

 The Galaxy A3 comes with 4.7-inch qHD super AMOLED unit with 720p resolution. The device comes with 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5 GB of RAM. The device has a 13MP rear camera along with 5MP of front selfie shooter. The rear camera has f/1.9 apertures but lacks OIS.  It has 16GB internal storage and the battery goes up to 2,300mAh. The device got 7.3mm thickness and 132g weight. the Galaxy A3 also supports Dual-SIM and LTE is set at Cat. 4.

 The next device is Galaxy A5 sports a 5.2-inch full HD Super AMOLED display at 1080p resolution. It has a processor upgrade from quad-core to octa-core. The 16 GB internal storage paired with 2GB of RAM and good 2900mAh battery capacity. The measurement of device is 144.8×71.0×7.3mm and weighs 155 grams. The galaxy A5 got features like Samsung Pay’s Magnetic Secure Transmission, NFC payment systems and fingerprint scanner. This device also got 13MP of rear camera and 5Mp of front shooter.

 The last device of this series is Samsung Galaxy A7 which comes with a 5.5-inch full HD super AMOLED display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device includes a 1.6GHz octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM. It also has 16 GB of internal storage and support for LTE category 6 network speeds. The Galaxy A7 comes with a huge 3,300mAh battery with fast charging feature. It supports Samsung Pay’s Magnetic Secure Transmission, NFC payment systems and fingerprint scanner just like the Galaxy A5. JK Shin, CEO and Head of Samsung’s IT & Mobile Business said:

All three Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The on-board storage is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. These three devices have lots of upgrades as compared to previous versions. Stay tuned for more.
