Samsung Launched Galaxy S6, S6 Edge in India Priced at 49,000
Samsung launched Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in India. Samsung launch event was held today in Delhi. Samsung is struggling in Indian Smartphone market due to Micromax, Xiaomi, OPPO, Oneplus etc. With these two models Samsung is looking forward in high end device market. Samsung launched its flagship series in India before the Sony’s Flagship Xperia Z4 and HTC’s One M9.
Samsung is offering both Smartphones in three variants. There are 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variant launched in India. Samsung Galaxy S6 is priced at Rs 49,900 Rs 55,900 and Rs 61,900 respectively for 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants. Whereas Samsung S6 Edge priced at Rs 58,900, 64,900 and 70,900 respectively. Samsung will start selling both smartphones from April 10, 2015. Pre-bookings of the Galaxy flagship started from today. Pre-booking of phone will give benefit on screen protection to users with 6 month replacement warranty.
Both Samsung Galaxy smartphones are made by using stronger metal. It comes with the toughest glass, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, which makes it harder to bend. The rear panel of the new flagship Galaxy Smartphones comes in attractive colors. Both Samsung Galaxy smartphones are lightweight. It makes easy to handle with one hand. The design of both handsets looks and feels pretty sweet and attractive. The new Samsung Galaxy S6 allows you to charge wirelessly. Both handsets supports wireless charging by using Samsung’s charging pad. But it has a drawback of non removable battery. Smartphone users does not like this feature at any cost. The minimum storage capacity has been enhanced to 32GB. But again it does not support memory card. There is no slot for memory card in the both devices.
