Vivo confirmed that the new Vivo XPlay 5 launch; 6GB RAM with Snapdragon 820
Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacture confirmed the launch event of it next flagship. The new Vivo Xplay 5 will be the flagship killer of 2016. The company confirmed that the upcoming Vivo XPlay 5 will feature a whopping 6GB of RAM. Yes, this is not a feature leak it’s confirmed by the official weibo page of Vivo. The Vivo xPlay 5 launch event settled on March 1, 2016 at Beijing’s Water Cube Convention Center. It will be world’s first smartphone to have 6GB RAM. Vivo have been releasing teaser after teaser confirming some of the interesting features of the new flagship phone.
The Vivo Xplay5 will have a 5.5-inch IPS display having a 2K resolution. The device will have dual edge screen. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset along with Adreno 530 GPU. The main USp of device is its 6GB DDR4 RAM. At the storage front it will be available in 64 GB / 128 GB variant. Some rumors suggesting that it will have 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash, Autofocus, HDR and BIS. At the front side there will be an 8MP camera for selfies. It will have a whooping 4300mAh battery.
The Vivo has decided to reveal its important features via teasers ahead of its release. We can expect most of these specs to be confirmed before Vivo XPlay 5 releases officially. The company is all set to announce the device on March 1, which is a week away. So, after the exciting series of announcements at MWC 2016, we will meet the powerful XPlay 5.
