HTC is ready to launch new device HTC A9 on 20th October

 HTC the leading smartphone manufacture company is ready to launch new device. HTC has made an announcement for a global launch event on 20th October 2015. The event will be held through a ‘virtual event’ which will be streamed from HTC’s official website. The event will begin at 00:00 in Taipei 12:00PM in New York and 9:30 PM in India.

It is expected that HTC is going to launch a new smartphone. HTC A9 will be launched on this day. The new HTC A9 will run on Google’s latest mobile OS Android M. HTC sent an invite to the press which states, “Meet the Marshmallow from HTC”. The line is dropping a hint that the new device will sport Android 6.0 Marshmallow aka Android M. Google has launched the Nexus 6P with Android M few days ago.

HTC also made an announcement via Twitter “We’re roasting marshmallows this fall! We’ll begin our Android 6.0 rollout to devices before the end of the year.” In this year HTC users have been lucky to get latest Android OS updates after Google’s devices. It looks like that the company will follow the same pattern this time. OnePlus was also claiming to provide the latest Android OS update within a month of launch. But it was not possible for the company.

Flagship devices HTC One M9 and HTC One M8 will receive Android M OTA before the year end. Other smartphones expected to receive the update will be HTC One M9+, HTC One E9, HTC One E9+, HTC One ME, HTC One E8, HTC One M8 Eye, HTC Butterfly 3, HTC Desire 826, HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 816.

The HTC A9 is assumed to come with a fingerprint scanner and USB type C. These two attractive features are coming these days in flagship devices. According to the rumours and leaks the HTC A9 will be powered by high-end deca-core Helio X20 processor and 4GB DDR4 of RAM. The internal storage capacity will be 32GB and 64GB.
